Matt Bishop is an actor, bodybuilder and marketing consultant based in Miami Beach. In September 2021, luck met an opportunity when Ryan Murphy cast him as Big Daddy in the hit series American Horror Story: New York City, which premiered on October 19th, 2022 on FX and streamed on Hulu.

Off the success of AHS:NYC, Matt has immersed himself in classes and training at Stella Adler Acting School in New York to develop the skills and techniques to become a leading actor. He has also studied with both Lesly Kahn and Howard Fine in Los Angeles and attended the Stunt Performer's Academy 3-week certification course so that he can perform his own stunts.

Matt is an NPC Open Super Heavyweight competitive bodybuilder preparing for the 2026 season and an Ambassador for ANIMAL Pak supplements.

When he’s not working on set, Matt is an experiential marketing consultant and produces live experiences for some of the world’s most iconic brands.

He has a French Bulldog (Milo) and two Toy Australian Shepherds (Enzo & Sky). Matt loves to travel and learn about new cultures and perspectives, counting Dubai and Rio de Janeiro as his favorite destinations.
